Grants For Teachers

AMAZING IDEAS BECOME REALITY

Redlands Education Partnership (REP) awarded 115 Grants totaling $57,700 through our 2025-2026 Grants for Teachers program.  Grants for Teachers has been fully donor funded for six years in a row, with this year being another major success.   Below are a few ways this year’s Grant funds will benefit students in the Redlands Unified School District:

Mission Kindergarteners will have access to a newly enhanced dramatic play area, featuring exciting new themes like veterinarians, florists, post office, and others.   Dramatic play helps students develop language skills and learn future career knowledge.

Redlands High School is establishing a chapter of the French National Honor Society, affiliated with the American Association of Teachers of French.  The Grant funds will cover the Charter fee and individual registration fees for qualified students.

Cope Middle School’s Math Club provides students in grades sixth – eighth with weekly after-school opportunities to strengthen their critical thinking skills and prepare for the AMC 8 and MathCounts competitions.  Participants will compete against other middle schools in these national contests.  Grant funds will cover competition registration fees and essential practice resources leading to enhanced student confidence and students embracing the joy of math!

Judson & Brown Elementary School will use Grant funds to stock a Calming Toolbox for each classroom.  The toolboxes will contain direction cards and sensory tools such as calming jars, fidgets, playdough, and other related items.  These social emotional tools will help students to self-regulate and return to their class seats ready to learn.  These tools support student well-being, attendance and increase on-task behavior in the classroom.

K-12/Adapted PE students throughout the District will soon have specialized adaptive physical education equipment and manipulatives that support the development of motor skills, coordination, and physical fitness for students with disabilities.  Supplies may include sensory balls, balance trainers, adapted bikes and inclusive games that encourage participation and engagement.  These resources will help create a more accessible and inclusive environment, allowing each student to reach their individual physical education goals.
